Find Power County Recent Arrests

Power County recent arrests start with the county's live jail roster, a current-custody list you can check before turning to court and other records. From there, one booking can travel across several systems. A person gets booked, released, transferred, or handed to state or federal custody, and an older roster entry may drop away. Power County Recent Arrest Windows

The Power County Jail Roster is the official starting point for Power County recent arrests. It lists people currently in custody. Each entry carries a generated timestamp, a name search, and pagination down to individual booking details. It is not a census of every arrest. Someone may be in intake, already released, transferred, held elsewhere, or withheld from public display. Treat the roster as a snapshot of the jail, nothing more.

No same-day feed exists. The county also publishes no multi-day Sheriff blotter. The roster serves both windows within its limits. For same-day checks, the Arrests Last 24 Hours page lays out the approach. Older entries and archives belong on the Police Blotter page.

When Power County Arrests Appear

According to the county jail page, booking finishes first. Only then does the detained person get a phone call to tell family or friends about the custody and charges. The page says nothing about when the web roster entry or booking photo follows. Intake checks, release, transfer, and plain technical lag can all sit between the arrest and its online appearance. Rely on the generated timestamp. Assume no hourly update schedule.

The list itself is small and constantly shifting. Counts have run 23, 24, and 25 names at various times. That is a changing custody roster, not a daily arrest tally. When you need a fixed reference, save the timestamp, booking number, and detail page address. Keep one more thing in mind: someone arrested in American Falls may be booked elsewhere. A missing roster entry does not mean no arrest happened.

Verify custody. A new booking may lag, and a prompt release or transfer may remove the person from the current roster.

Search the Power County Jail Roster

One old address still circulates. The Sheriff links to a former `jail.co.power.id.us` portal, which now redirects to `jail.powercounty.gov`. The redirect is not a second feed. Check the final host and the page timestamp before trusting a result.

Where Power County Arrests Appear

Each official source answers a different question. The roster covers current county custody. Idaho iCourt handles filed cases and dispositions. Idaho VINE reports custody status and sends alerts. IDOC tracks state custody and supervision rather than each county booking. News outlets and unofficial sites trail these sources, and their copies can be selective or stale.

RecentlyBooked and Mugshots.comOftenUnofficialSecondary lead only

Unofficial sites deserve caution. The RecentlyBooked Power County page claims frequent refreshes yet sits stale. The Mugshots.com Power County section leans heavily on old material. Check every field against the Sheriff and the court. Arrests.org, Busted Newspaper, and Mugshots.zone carry no Power County section at all. When a person moves into state custody or supervision, the IDOC search is the official next stop.

Power County Recent Arrests by City

Power County holds just two incorporated cities. American Falls runs its own police department, though the city posts no arrest feed of its own. Rockland has no city police force at all and relies on the Sheriff for law enforcement. A city label on a record simply shows where an incident happened. It does not reveal which agency made the arrest or where the booking took place.

Older planning material puts parts of the jail at 1963 and 1980, with a then-capacity of 30. Those are historical facts. They are not current operating figures. Still, they frame a small county system built around a direct roster and request forms.

What Power County Arrest Records Show

Think of a booking record as a jail-intake snapshot. The public detail ties identity and custody fields to charge and bail data. Those entries shift as staff correct errors, custody ends, or a court case moves forward.

FieldMeaning
NameIdentity displayed in the roster entry
Booking numberReference for a Sheriff request
Incarceration dateDate tied to custody, not always exact arrest time
ImageBooking image area when one is public
Counts, offense date, chargeCharges recorded at booking
Court case numberBridge to the related court file
Bail amount and typeBooking-side data that needs current confirmation

No release date, disposition, or arresting-agency field appears in the interface, so those facts may sit with another custodian. The official booking-detail interface shows the field layout.

Power County Mugshots and Photos

The official roster can show a booking image on an individual detail when one exists. Its list is not a photo gallery. The county publishes no rule on who gets a public image, when it appears, or how long it stays after release. Availability and persistence are never guaranteed.

Want a photo through records? The Sheriff report form includes a "Pictures" option. Supply the name, booking number, date, and case number. The custodian reviews each request, and exemptions can apply. No numeric photo fee is posted. IDOC's public search displays no photos, so any state-custody image must be requested from IDOC.

Power County Booking and Bond

Paying a bond in Power County comes with set fees. The jail charges a $10 Sheriff fee on every bond. It adds another $10 per charge. That is, unless the charges are grouped. Cash, cashier's checks, money orders, and surety bonds are all accepted. A cash bond can go on a card through Citepay. That route adds a nonrefundable $10 Sheriff fee. For a surety bond, the county's math is 10 percent. Add a $35 surety fee and the $10 Sheriff fee. None of that buys a guaranteed release time. A court order can keep someone in custody even after payment. So can a second hold, a transfer, or routine jail processing. Call the jail before sending money. Confirm the exact amount and the accepted method. Bond questions go to the Trial Court Administrator at 208-236-7379. For a release alert, VINE beats the online roster. Power County does not promise when a name comes off the list. So treat the roster as a rough guide rather than a clock.

Power County Arrest Data Context

The Idaho State Police 2024 NIBRS report counts 156 Power County arrests. Of those, 149 were adults. Seven were juveniles, against a reported population of 8,368. That works out to a rate of 1,864.24. The category counts include 57 drug or narcotic offenses and 42 drug-equipment offenses. Adult DUI Group B arrests number 36. These are annual agency-reported statistics. They cannot tell you who is in jail today or replace an actual booking record.

156reported 2024 arrests
149adult arrests
7juvenile arrests

Annual totals prove nothing about a daily pattern. Power County publishes no multi-day blotter. A surge or weekend spike cannot be drawn from one. Keep NIBRS for broad, dated context and the live roster for current custody. Juvenile details stay protected even when a high-level count is public.

Older Power County Arrest Records

Idaho's retention schedule treats a public roster and the files behind it as different things. Criminal arrest histories, incident files, booking sheets, photographs, inmate-accountability records, and inmate case files each form their own series. A web entry can vanish while the file survives. Even a permanent category is no promise everything is open. For someone released recently, start with the Sheriff. Turn to iCourt for the legal outcome.

The Idaho State Archives handles historical government material that has been transferred. It is not the place for a current booking. The University of Idaho microfilm index lists Power County Press issues from 1937 forward, plus earlier American Falls titles. Newspapers can help you locate an old event. Still, a news story is an incomplete record, not proof of custody.

Juvenile, sealed, victim, witness, medical, and active investigative material may stay closed. A blank result is an access boundary. It is not proof that nothing happened. Give the custodian a name, agency, record series, date range, and any known case number so staff can find the right file.

Request a Power County Arrest Record

The Power County Records Request page splits county requests from court-record requests. That split matters here. A Sheriff incident report, a jail booking, a photo, and a court docket may each sit with a different custodian, so ask for the exact record type and date range rather than "everything."

  1. Save the name, roster timestamp, booking number, incarceration date, and case number.
  2. Use the Sheriff form for an arrest report or picture and the general county form for another county record.
  3. Describe the record in a narrow date range and select email, mail, pickup, copies, or examination.
  4. Allow the custodian's response period. The form describes three business days, with written notice and up to ten business days when more time is needed.
  5. Review the estimate. The county may require payment before preparing copies.

Neither form lists a flat booking-photo price. The Sheriff form says a copy or processing fee may apply. The general form has the custodian research the request and send back an estimated charge. A lawful denial cites its basis. The official request page maps both routes.

Idaho Arrest Records and Removal

Idaho's Public Records Law, Title 74, starts from openness. It still allows limits for active investigations, confidential sources, juveniles, victims, witnesses, medical details, security information, and sealed files. Idaho has no dedicated law creating a broad online mugshot-publication rule or a pay-to-remove right. Access hinges on the record and its custodian.

Idaho Code ยง67-3004(10) offers a Bureau of Criminal Identification expungement path for some people not charged within a year, acquitted, or whose charges were all dismissed. It carries limits, including withheld judgments. Idaho's Clean Slate process separately shields eligible cases. Neither fix erases copied pages right away.

Fix the official record first. Then use the free policy on the unofficial site holding the copy. RecentlyBooked takes free requests for sealed, dismissed, expunged, wrong-person, juvenile, duplicate, or outdated entries. Mugshots.com runs a no-charge path for qualifying legal and identity corrections. Skip anyone demanding payment for a promised result. And never mistake a private policy for Idaho law.

Power County Arrest Warrants

The Power County Sheriff runs no warrant portal or local most-wanted roster. A booking detail can flag a warrant-related charge. One entry, though, is not a warrant list. Idaho's iCourt instructions allow public searches for unsealed warrants and no-contact orders by record number. Sealed, satisfied, and new matters may not show. The American Falls Most Wanted page is an outside-link directory that posts no local names, photos, totals, or update dates.

Power County arrest warrant resources on American Falls directory

That page is a directory, not a county wanted list. For current procedure, contact the Sheriff or the court clerk. Someone resolving their own warrant should call a lawyer. They can also call the court directly. Never approach, follow, confront, or try to detain a person believed wanted. Report immediate threats through emergency services.

After a Power County Arrest

A booking in Power County is only step one. The court case comes later. Pull the case number from the jail detail, then search it in the Idaho iCourt Portal to see filed charges, hearing dates, and any public outcome. No case number handy? Search last name, first name. Match the county, birth year, and case type before you trust a hit. Sealed or exempt matters stay out of view, and the county court form lists court-copy fees under Idaho Court Administrative Rule 32 that differ from Sheriff fees.

Booking
Jail intake that creates a custody record and may include a photo.
Bond
Terms set for release while a case proceeds.
Disposition
The court's recorded outcome, such as dismissal, plea, or verdict.
Expungement
A legal process that removes or limits a qualifying criminal-history record.

Power County Custody After Booking

State custody shows up in IDOC's Resident and Client Search. Two letters of a last name works. So does three digits of an IDOC number. Results may list an IDOC number, name, birth year, and a status such as in custody, in community, discharged, or active bench warrant. IDOC cautions the data can lag. It tracks state custody and supervision only, not every Power County arrest.

Federal inmates sit elsewhere. The BOP Inmate Locator reaches back to 1982 but shows no photo. The ICE locator needs an A-number with country of birth, or exact name details. Neither one replaces the county roster. Power County Alerts handles emergencies, not jail status. For notice of a release or transfer, Idaho VINE is the right route, and the VINELink Custody Check walks through name searches, registration, and single-person limits.
